THE PRINCIPLE

STARNUTS ALL METAL HEXAGONAL SELF-LOCKING DEFORMED NUT

The principle of self-locking of deformed nut STARNUTS Hhs-Hus-Hms deformation nuts is obtained by making a defined number of calibrated indentions on one of the support faces under a specific load. This load allows the deformation of the last thread of the nut, which will generate a self-brake of the nut during its assembly.

Deformed nut STARNUTS Hhs High type (ISO 4033)

Deformed nut STARNUTS Hus Husual type (ISO 4032)

Deformed nut STARNUTS Hms Law type (ISO 4035)

When mounted, the screw generates pressure on the deformed thread of the nut creating a constant braking torque and independent (called self-braking) of the tightening torque of the latter. Product Description Definition: hexagonal nut any metal self-braked by indemined at the top of the nut.
